Make sure to visit our Farm Museum which represents Irelands farming heritage. It shows the evolution of Irish farm like from the early 18th century up to the present day. Some of the farm implements and machinery were actually used by the owners grandparents and father. As the museum is on a working farm it shows a lovely contrast between the past and present. In the museum you can see everything from pony trap, Deutz Tractors to milk churns. Some of the tractors on display have earned awards in shows for best restored tractors. The hand-threshing mill on display is one of only 3 in Ireland and dates back to the mid 1800s and is an early example replacing the flail used for many centuries. Guests are free to look around the museum on their own or if they prefer Robert, when available would be more than happy to give a guided tour giving guests real life stories of the items on display.
