This museum depicts the social, economic and military history of the Shankill area. Recent additions to the museum include the collection of Loyal Orders Memorabilia and the British Red Cross Exhibition. A terraced house circa 1930s is recreated inside this museum, and you can get a real sense of the way of life in working-class Belfast around the time of the great Depression. There are also exhibitions looking at the Shankill Road and the role played by Ulster soldiers in the First and Second World Wars.
