Inishbofin Heritage Museum & Gift Shop is housed in an old island cottage on Inishbofin, the Island of the White Cow, in County Galway. You must get a ferry from Cleggan to visit Inishbofin and as you approach you’ll see the island stretching out to eight by five kilometres in front of you. Inishbofin is packed with history and the Heritage Museum reflects this, containing the contents of an old island cottage and its collection of over 200 stunning black and white photographs depicting island life, including traditional fishing and farming practises.
