The Coalyard Dunlaoghaire Harbour is located in DunLaoghaire, Dublin (county of Dublin)

Position on map:

The Coal Yard is owned by the Harbour Authority, and provides secure storage and workspace for boats owned by members of the public, at reasonable cost. It houses a varied collection of boats in various states and conditions, including old wooden trawlers, traditional dinghies, traditional yachts and even currachs. Two prototypes (Eithne and Marguerite) for the famous Howth 17’s are stored here. There is an interesting old launching cradle and tractor in the yard, which has been an important focus for the restoration of many traditional boats, including the revival of the Galway Hookers.
