The Irish Naval Service Collection is located in Naval Base, The Haulbowline, Cork (county of Cork)

Position on map:

The collection is housed in three buildings, including a Martello Tower. Extensive collection of Navigation and Communications equipment. Selection of firearms, larger ordinance and related equipment. An original (de-commissioned) torbedo from a WWII Motor Torpedo Boat. Depth charge and launching mechanism. Assorted cannon, including one on the roof of the Martello Tower, mounted on tracks with reconstructed block and tackle aiming equipment. There is an extensive photographic collection tracing the history of the Irish Naval Service, along with records, prints, maps and charts.
