MacDonagh family home which has been transformed into an museum space dedicated to telling his story and that of his family. The centre includes material from the wider heritage of Cloughjordan and a gallery is included to showcase the latest in local talent. A main exhibit is the pianoforte which once belonged to MacDonagh’s mother, Mary Louise Parker, who gave piano lessons to local children. The pianoforte has been donated to the centre by the Hennessy family who were gifted the instrument by Mary MacDonagh.
