The National Transport Museum is operated by the “The Transport Museum Society of Ireland Ltd.” They are a voluntary and not for profit group. Their main activities include the preservation and restoration of road commercial vehicles, including Trams, buses, fire appliances, Lorries, military and others. The collection includes the restored Hill of Howth Tram, Dublin Trams 253 and 224, 1937 Leyland Titan, and Dublin’s first Double Deck Bus. GNR Gardiner and AEC Regent Buses, Landsverg Armoured car, Horse Drawn, Electrics and others on display from 1880s to 1980s.
