A Burren walking trail, café facilities, gift shop, toilet facilities, picnic area & ample free bus and car parking. Located in the picturesque Burren, the restored thatched homestead and courtyard, surrounded by the unspoilt landscape offers a must-see attraction in the beautiful rugged landscape of the Burren close to Carron village. The locality is rich in archeology and biodiversity. Michael Cusack was born in 1847 during one of the worst years of the famine. He did not attend school until he was 11 but went on to be a teacher and as founder of the GAA, one of the most influential characters in Irish cultural history, leaving a legacy to benefit generations.
