Many interesting everyday household and agricultural items which were in use in the locality in days of olde are housed in the old parochial residence that is the Tullaherin Local Museum. The Museum is adjacent to the recently renovated Steeple of Tullaherin (a 9th C. Round Tower) and the Fountain of Stroan, an Italian designed fountain – one of a kind in the south of Ireland – erected in 1766.The Tullaherin monastic site also contains a 11-13th century ruined church and two ogham stones which are now housed in the Tullaherin Local Museum.
