The Waterways Ireland Visitor Centre is your Gateway to the Waterways floating on the waters of Grand Canal Basin. Inside the centre we have hands on activities including demonstrating driving a barge and an interactive quiz testing your knowlegde of Ireland’s Waterways. We also provide advice guides, maps and charts for those planning on using the waterways and the activities around them. Our unique location on the water, in the city and our architectural award winning structure makes the centre ideal to hire for exhibitions, launches , photo shoots and events.
