Killaloe Heritage Centre is located in The Lock Keepers House, Killaloe (county of Clare)

Set in the old lock keepers house, the Centre mainly deals with the life and story of Brian Boru. There are a number of information panels on the river and it’s barges and ferries. There is a re-housed cabin of a canal boat, depicting the domestic quarters of canal men. There is some good video footage and photographic records of working barges.
